GNIPOKNE - ONE BIG BAD-ASS DUNGEON!!! Gnipokne var Daniels största grottsystem hittills och var både kampanj och äventyr och testbädd för Nya Dungeons & Dragons. Målet med kampanjen var att ha testat allt i den senaste utgåvan av D&D, monster, skatter, regler, allt. Det är den enda gången som Daniel spelleder nya D&D då det inte föll honom i smaken, men Skuggan har också spellett några äventyr med de reglerna. De tappra äventyrarna besökte alla 30 nivåer av grottan och kampanjen avslutades 2009, 10 år efter att den startats. Förutom grottan i sig hade rollpersonerna också märkligt verkliga drömmar där de var andra personer i andra D&D-världar som Eberron, Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms och Ghostwalk och spelat genom små minikampanjer där. De karaktärerna dök sedan upp i Gnipökne i slutstriden. Kampanjen var också upplagd så att den på sätt och vis följde rollspelens utveckling från randomiserat utsatta monster och skatter på de första nivåerna och allt mer genomtänkt, realistiskt vartefter med mer bakgrundshistoria och rollgestaltande. På den här sidan finns lite kul statistik från kampanjens gång, vilka monster som slagits ner, hur många som stötts på, vilka som missats, plundrade skatter och dylikt. Listan är som vanligt inte en 100%-ig lista, det kan ha kommit med enbart påstötta monster i besegrade-listan och sånt. Monster Manual säger sig ha mer än 500 monster om man läser baksidestexten. Det totala antalet besegrade monster uppgår till 487. Det är en väldigt preliminär siffra då jag tror fler djävlar, yuan-ti och driders gått åt. Nya Dungeons & Dragons kallas ofta för 3E, 3rd edition och 3.0 då den anses som egentligen vara en tredje version av Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. 2006 kom en reviderad utgåva kallad v3.5 vilken vi gick över till.
