ALIENS SEASON TWO: The Big Lie Virtual Insanity Waking up in huge pods with tubes and machinery sticking out from every thinkable and unthinkable orifice, Simon and Stephanie were obviously not in the same place as they last remember being. Instructed to shower and dress before being taken home they promptly did so. Appearently they were not who they had thought. Identification said they were Simon Sundquist and Stephanie Skog, not Simon Maxwell and Stephanie Fairchild. They were driven home to great housing skyscrapers, to their apartments. After a few days the pieces began to fall in place. They had agreed to be subject to a virtual reality world for a year and it was during this virtual reality that they had imagined themselves being marines. Stephanie was currently a law school student and Simon unemployed after work as a gym teacher and some military service. Life was looking...odd. Storm Warning Weather became increasingly bad. Huge thunderstorms wraught havok across the entire world making long range communication impossible. After about a week a helicopter was sent to pick Simon up. His old black ops strike team was being put together again for a new mission and later Stephanie was included since all skills learned in the Virtual Reality had carried on to this world. In the Angels' underground base it was all explained to them. The storms had caused damage in the billions, destroying satellites, torn asunder entire communities. But what's worse these storms had settled over various areas of the world. These areas had seemingly been transformed on a subatomic level. The coasts of the United States were now dinosaur infested djungles. One important military base had to be secured against trespassers. This was the first mission. Gearing up and moving out in a truck Black Angels entered the storm area. Simon, the designated driver, lost control of the truck and it hit a tree full force, instantly killing one and crushing the legs of Cpl. Miyagi. Leaving them behind they continued through the misty djungle to the military base. They where rescued from ambushers by a man in trenchcoat wielding a Thomson typewriter and calling himself the Yellow Hornet. Near the military base the Colonel told them the real deal of the mission. Appearently a UFO had been shot down earlier in the year and one part of the craft was being kept in the military base. This had to be retrieved. The base was quickly entered and the item secured. They returned to the base. Instant New Reality The next mission was just as simple. Seek and destroy. The Yellow Hornet spent a week talking to the Colonel and it was decided that the team should seek out and destroy a gospog field. Gospogs where plant creatures used by the regions ruler to quickly raise troops. They found the field and started destroying the gospog seeds. Fending of an attack by lizardmen on flying reptiles they continued their destruction. A huge winged reptile picked up Maxwell and flew to his nest and killed him. When returning to the base from the field Fairchild was knocked unconscious. When they woke up this time they were in some kind of futuristic laboratory. Two doctors where watching over them. Confused, Maxwell and Fairchild were given rooms in the building. Soon they discovered that they were in 1999 New York. 1999 Marvel Comics New York. They enjoyed their stay while Dr. Richards tried to find a way to return them to their own reality. A few days later he had found a solution. Thy where connected to machinery and after saying goodbye all went black. The Black Guard När de vaknade var det fortfarande svart. Det var natt och de satt fastkedjade vid en vägg i en medeltida fängelsehåla. Det enda ljuset kom från den stjärnklara natthimlen. Kort efter uppvaknandet fördes de till audienssalen i den lilla fästning de befann sig i. De frågades om det "flygande huset" och släpptes fria när de berättade att de ville ta sig till det. Ombord på skeppet välkomnades de av skeppets kontrollerare, en Mörkerväktarminnescell, ett dolt AI-datasystem som fanns på varje skepp. Det här var det gamla skeppet som upptäckts på den tidigare planeten, det som Goron hade satt av efter. Nu ville det jaga ifatt Goron för att eliminera Brown som de sade var ansvarig för att kidnappat skeppet. De följde Goron på säkert avstånd och spenderade de följande 11 dagarna med att reparera Black Guard som tagit rejält med stryk i striden med Goron. En planet med hög teknologi upptäcktes av sensorerna och på den 12:e dagen stötte man på ett patrullskepp av enorm storlek. Enterprise Ombord på patrullskeppet var de tvugna att låta tullen gå genom deras skepp och de spenderade de dagarna med lite avslappnande sysselsättningar samt jagande av besättningsmän från Goron. När de släpptes ur tullen fortsatte de till närmaste planet där de passade på att skaffa sig olika cybernetiska implantat. Där blev de också tillfångatagna av Gorons säkerhetsteam.
